We recommend using PRIMER prior to cementing cPVC pipe and fittings, specially designed for high temperature uses, e.g. hot water systems, up to 93°C. Solvent setting, cure times, diameters (Sizes) atmospheric temperature and relative humidity are important variable factors and their knowledge and expertise is essential to obtain a perfect joint. Curing time is shorter for drier environments, smaller sizes with thin film of jointing solvent and higher temperatures. Follow the solvent cement manufacturer’s recommended drying times. Temperature application range is 4°C – 44°C.
